Didcot moved up to second place and stretched their unbeaten run to 20 games with this win at Harrow Hill.
On a mudbath of a pitch, Didcot were under the cosh from the start and went a goal behind on eight minutes when the unmarked Kevin Averis fired home.
Didcot equalised five minutes later against the run of play, Andy Marriott netting with the help of a deflection.
Only superb defending, in particular by Jamie Heapy and Jon-Paul Bailey, kept the home side at bay and Harrow were denied a second goal on 72 minutes when keeper Alex Deadman made a brilliant double save.
Right on full time, skipper Paul Noble headed home Town's winner from Andy Cooper's free kick.
