A school is £1,000 better off, thanks to the generosity of supermarket customers.
Regulars at the Budgens store, in the Peachcroft shopping centre, Abingdon, took part in a Christmas tombola to help raise money for Kingfisher School, in Radley Road, which teaches children with learning difficulties.
Store manager David Brown said: "It was a wonderful response from our customers."
Mr Brown has a personal interest in Kingfisher School - his six-year-old daughter, Nicola, is a pupil there. The money will go towards new computer software and equipment.
Headteacher Ann O'Meara said: "This was a wonderful gesture by the store and the customers."
