City of Oxford's Amy Crider and John Kim were the only Oxford & North Bucks winners at an Inter-Counties Junior Gala at Wolverhampton on Sunday.
Both swimmers are ranked highly nationally for their respective event so their performances were no surprise.
Twelve-year-old Crider led from start to finish in her 50m backstroke event, setting a new personal best of 34.17.
Kim also led from the start, finishing with an impressive 32.88 for his 50m butterfly. He was also second in the 100m individual medley in 1.18.29.
Other swimmers to catch the eye were Maxwell's Sarah Turner, second in the girl's 13-years 100m backstroke in a fine time of 1.11.21, and Witney's Luke Wilmshurst who was second in both the 100m breaststroke (1.15.72) and 100m individual medley (1.10.42).
Gala result: 1 Staffordshire 329T pts, 2 Cheshire 296, 3 Warwickshire 290, 4 Leicestershire 249, 5 Worcestershire 248T, 6 Oxon & North Bucks 208, 7 Shropshire 127.
