Standlake Arena starts its racing season on Sunday with a classy competitor in the banger ranks.
Gloucester racer Julian Camelleri, of the Real Steel Team, is bringing along the first Rolls-Royce to race at the west Oxfordshire track.
Promoter Keith Hook said: "It looks like being a busy year with already large registrations of juniors plus other classes.
"The junior class, for racers aged ten to 16, competing in 1000cc Minis looks like being very popular again. Thirty-four juniors registered at last weekend's signing-on day, including nine new racers from as far afield as Birmingham.
"This year starts as last year finished, still pumping excess water away from the track."
