First division Aston upset Premier outfit Old Headington in a dramatic penalty shoot-out in the RT Harris Oxford City FA Couling Cup quarter-finals.
The tie finished 1-1 after extra time with Julian Richardson netting for Headington.
They were still locked together after the first five penalties, with the two keepers making an equal number of saves, but Aston eventually triumphed 4-3 after eight penalties each.
In another upset, North Oxford Res knocked out Great Milton 3-2 after being 2-0 down at half-time.
Veteran Kenny Godfrey was North's hero with a 30-yard drive five minutes from time after Darren Holderness and Ian Headley had hauled them level.
Milton had led through Phillip Short and Tom Shephard.
An individual goal from Kevin McMahon gave Cowley Workers a 3-2 win at Blackbird Leys.
Workers had led 2-0 at the interval through Steven Walsh and Liam Callaghan, before Danny Laurence and Shane Mitchell hauled Blackbird level.
In the Premier Division, Orvill Campbell hit a hat-trick as Barton thrashed Fairview 5-0. Mark Johnson and Pav Sundar completed their tally.
