The 2001 British Superbike Championship will be launched at the London Motorcycle and Scooter Show and you can join the party as the biggest teams in British bike racing are unveiled for the first time.
The most competitive racing series in the UK which regularly attracts 20,000 spectators to each round is inviting fans to the launch celebrations, next Wednesday, at The Excel Centre, in London's Dockland. Regarded worldwide as the most competitive domestic race series, the British Superbike Championship also acts as a proving ground for future world champions.
The official works Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha teams will unveil their latest rider line-ups and liveries.
Fans can also speak to the stars and take advantage of special championship ticket promotions, exclusively available at the show.
A permanent British Superbike Championship stand at the show, which runs from February 21-25, offers daily interviews with the top riders and includes a display of the exotic hand-built "works" racers, which cost up to 250,000 each.
Irene Yedd, managing director of show organisers, Motor Cycle Industry Exhibitions Ltd, said: "The London Motorcycle and Scooter Show offers race fans a unique experience, previously reserved for the press and VIPs. The spectacular launch event planned is probably many championship followers' best opportunity to meet their favourite riders."
Jos Foulston, the British Superbike Championship series director, said: "The British Superbike Championship is fast becoming one of the UK's biggest spectator sports, which is why we have decided to involve fans in our most exciting launch ever."
