A teenager who hit a man with a brick and another man with a metal bar during robberies is being hunted by Oxford police.
In the first incident, a man was hit with a brick after he refused to hand over money to a youth who approached him in Cowley Road just after 6.20pm on Friday (February 9). His assailant was described as a very slim black youth, about 6ft tall, with short black frizzy hair, who was wearing a dark-coloured hooded top with the hood pulled up.
When then man refused to hand any money over, the youth hit him with a brick, causing cuts and bruises to his mouth.
Police said they believe the same youth was one of two men who took a mountain bike and cash from a man in Meadow Lane, Oxford at 4pm on Sunday.
This man was hit about the legs with a metal bar by an attacker. Police said the attacker wore a dark-hooded sweatshirt.
The second man was about 5ft tall, of small build, aged about 14 and wearing a light-coloured hooded sweatshirt.
The pair made off with the man's bike and 45 in cash. He was left with bruising to his legs, chest and hands.
