Tandem's Pauline Withey helped the ladies to a 5-0 victory, while Oxford's Keith Sheard won his match but couldn't prevent England men losing 6-5.
*IN the Morrells League Premier Section individual's championship, Dennis Atkins, Bob Whitehouse and Terry Coleman are through to the semi-finals.
Billy Hill, Alan Lowe and Keith Gardner won in Section 1, while in Section 3, Dave Tooke overcame his daughter, Michelle.
