Vikings B are running riot in Division 1 of the Oxford and District League.
They moved into second place after beating Vikings A 10-0, and then followed up with a 9-1 victory over Morris Motors B.
Oxford University student Dave Smith was again to the fore for Vikings B. He is having a fine season, having dropped only two games to date, and once again received good support from teammates Peter Epps and Glen Freeman.
Struggling Kidlington Forum B could field only two players Fraser Harris and Michael Wulff, who was playing up from Division 2 against Haddenham A.
The Forum pair put up a spirited display, only going down 6-4. They both beat Mike Wilkins, and Harris also recorded a fine win over Andy Misseldine.
In Division 2, Morris Motors C drew 5-5 against Gladiators and then beat Vikings C 6-4 to move clear of the relegation zone.
The reliable Eamonn Deeley was again the star for the Motors, recording maximums in both matches.
In Division 3, Bicester B and Vikings D, who are fighting it out for second position, recorded convincing wins.
Bicester B beat Nielsens 9-1, with Gerry Connon and Julie Smillie both scoring maximums.
Meanwhile, rivals Vikings D won 9-1 against Vikings F and 7-3 against St James B, with husband and wife partnership Paul and Anne Borrowdale again doing the damage.
In Division 4, Morris Motors E were very unlucky not to secure a draw against top team Kidlington Forum E.
Barry Osborne won two of his games for Motors and only lost 21-19 in the third and final set against the division's leading player, Glen Stiffle.
