Fraser Gills was the extra-time hero as Six Bells Kidlington tolled the end of AFC Vikings' participation in theMorrells Oxford Sunday League Cup with a 2-1 victory.

After a goalless first half, Bells took the lead, only for Sean O'Sullivan to scramble home an equaliser for Vikings, who were denied by a string of fine saves.

With the prospect of penalties looming at the end of extra time, Gills thumped home the winner, although Jordan Reid blasted wide for Vikings with the last kick of the game.

In the Premier Division, Star Wanderers and Blackbird Leys Sunday shared the points in a 0-0 draw, with both keepers, Jason Hunt for Star and Martin Woodward for Leys, enjoying outstanding games.

In front of a good crowd, Oxford Supporters went down 5-2 at home to AFC Jericho, for whom Dean Joseph and Ian Griffiths both scored twice.

Simon Siver also netted for Jericho, who were indebted to defenders Robin Timms and Martin Smy. Jamie Brackett and Mickey Herbert replied for Supporters.

Yarnton Village again started with ten men at home to Oxford YMCA and got off to a flying start, taking a 3-0 lead inside the first ten minutes through Martin Reeves (2) and Lee Lishman.

Village's 11th player Lee Wing took the field just before half-time and netted with his second touch. After the teams changed round, Adrian Lenagan grabbed their fifth to seal the victory.

A Martin Batts strike earned a point for Star Wanderers Res at North Oxford CC in their Division 2 contest.

White Horse secured a 4-1 victory at home to Oxford Celtic Supporters, thanks to goals from Paul Robinson (2), Darren West (pen) and Ian Roberts.

In Division 4, Roebuck netted five goals in a ten-minute second-half spell to see off hosts Berkshire House 8-3, after trailing 2-0. Gary Rudman grabbed a hat-trick and livewire Mark Scanes a brace, while Craig Carter, Justin Ford and Carl Barber (pen) were also on target for Roebuck.

Andy Nicholas scored from 25 yards to earn Woodchip Wanderers a 2-1 victory against Carrier Arms. Earlier, Carrier's Julian Lambkin had equalised an opening goal by Phil Nolan.

Despite having two players sent off in the first half, AFC Blackbird came from behind to beat North Oxford CC in a fiercely fought Division 5 contest. Blackbird's goals came from Steve Walsh (2), Matty Hambridge, Stephen Haines and Rod Downes.
