It builds specialised trailers, hospitality units and motor homes for many of the world's leading motor racing teams, including the BMW Williams Formula One team at Grove, near Wantage, the Leafield-based Orange Arrows team, Jordan Grand Prix, British American Racing, Ferrari and Minardi.

The firm, which employs 50 people, was set up in Oxford more than 40 years ago and was based at Cassington and Eynsham, before its move to Standlake.

Managing director Iain Fraser said: "When we started out, we worked on standard road haulage vehicles.

"From a very small proportion of our work, motorsport is now more than 90 per cent of our business.

The company's new Standlake factory comprises offices and a specially equipped workshop, with the added advantage of a roof height of about ten metres, incorporating an overhead crane system.
