What better when you're young than to be allowed to mess about with spaghetti, marshmallows and eggs?
A great egg race challenge at Fritwell School, near Bicester, provided the chance for a group of nine and ten-year-olds to enjoy the challenge of making a tower out of these most unlikely ingredients.
The event was part of the Bicester Village Schools partnership which also involved youngsters from nearby Chesterton School, Finmere School and Charlton-on-Otmoor School.
Headteacher Clare Critchley said: "It was all good fun and, of course, there were a few disasters."
