A group of village players hopes to raise more than 2,000 for charity with their show.
Who Stole the Tarts? was this year's panto, staged at Steventon village hall last week, in aid of the NSPCC.
The show took the form of a whodunnit and was written by Maggi Shellard and Margaret Hall.
Ms Shellard said: "It was a variation on the old nursery rhyme, but with many more twists and turns and characters including a large bumble bee.
"It was a power struggle between the evil Queen of Spades and the Queen of Hearts."
