Two men claiming to be doing conveyancing work stole £160 from a resident.
They called at the home of a 58-year-old man in Hailey Road, Chipping Norton.
One claimed to be doing conveyancing work in the area and while he was talking to the resident the other man got into the house and stole £160 cash.
The man, who called on the afternoon of February 11, was in his early 20s, 6ft tall, slim and had blond hair in a fringe.
He wore a blue and white anorak and while trainers. The other man, who was only seen briefly, was older with black hair.
