Two friends were jailed after a fight broke out in which one girl suffered a bloodied nose and a man dislocated his shoulder.
Jhonny Texeria-Farias, 23, of Oxford Road, Rosehill, Oxford, and Duarte Fernandez, 22, of Oliver Road, Cowley, admitted assault and were both jailed for 28 days at Oxford Crown Court yesterday.
Susan Davies, prosecuting, said a fight broke out at a kebab van, near Queen's College, at 3.30am on August 15.
Tina Russell was kicked in the face and sustained a bloody nose and Jonathan Greenslade fell to the floor and dislocated his shoulder.
Eleanor Duhs, defending, told the court Texeria-Farias said a drunk woman pushed him and Mr Greenslade started shouting abuse.
Ms Duhs said her client was distressed that he had hurt a woman.
Recorder Guy Hungerford ordered both men to pay £300 to their victim.
