A disastrous 15-minute spell just after half-time, when they conceded four goals, led to Oxfordshire Under 18s' 5-2 defeat by Devon in their South West Counties Youth League match at Iffley Road.
Oxon had dominated the first half, but were denied by the Devon keeper and the woodwork as the visitors took a 1-0 lead.
After going 5-0 down, Oxon resumed control and were rewarded by goals from Mark Harris and Daniel McGing.
Nine players from Thame are included in the Oxon squad for their next match against Berks and Bucks at Chesham United on Saturday.
