Pupils from Woodeaton Manor School have earned themselves the title Consumer Challenge Champions 2001.
They just pipped two other special schools at a quiz in Oxford Town Hall organised by Oxfordshire County Council's Trading Standards Service.
The aim of the event was to raise citizenship and consumer awareness in a fun environment for schoolchildren with learning difficulties.
The Woodeaton youngsters and those from Fitzwaryn School in Wantage and Iffley Mead School, Oxford, were invited to demonstrate their consumer knowledge and citizenship skills in the interactive quiz by answering questions on subjects such as food and safety, age-restricted sales and safety symbols.
