Villagers have won a victory against a car transporter company whose lorries, they say, ruin their quality of life.
Residents of Cuxham helped persuade South Oxfordshire District Council to refuse McKenzie Myers' application to store more cars at Watlington Industrial Estate.
The company was seeking permission to store 50 cars at the Watlington depot. Its business involves moving new cars around on 30-ton transporters.
Villagers say the lorries - known locally as the 'McKenzie Myers Monsters' - are too large to get round the narrow country roads from the M40.
No one from McKenzie Myers was available for comment.
