City of Oxford gave their survival hopes in the Regional division of the South League a big boost with a superb 3-2 home win over second-placed West Hampstead.
The visitors went in front after 20 minutes from a short corner when goalkeeper Phil Peirson saved the initial shot, but could do nothing about the rebound.
City levelled before half-time with a short corner by Tony Silman which was deflected in.
And City went ahead ahead when Simon Harrison ran through and, with just one man to beat, was fouled by the last defender. A flick was awarded and Silman converted.
West Hampstead equalised with 12 minutes to go.
But from a short corner, Steve Bell switched the ball back to Dan Pilbeam and he tapped in to give City victory.
City's position at the bottom was helped by Ramgarhia losing 4-3 at home to Milton Keynes, although fellow relegation rivals Richings Park crushed Newbury 6-0.
