The Bourton-on-the-Water 10K race saw Headington Roadrunners scoop the women's team prize for the second year running, despite an improvement in the class of the women's race on the previous year.

Jude Craft, Allison Hirst and Phillippa Jones all recorded their best-ever times for the distance, with Craft improving by 40 seconds to finish third woman in 35 mins 33 secs.

Hirst improved hers by more than 30 seconds on the time she set in winning the race last year, to finish as second V35 in 36.40.

But the biggest improvement was Jones's, more than a minute-and-a-half.

On the men's side, Headington's star was Everard Robinson who won the V60 category.
