Brian Tufano, director of photography for the award-winning British film Billy Elliot, is to talk about his work after a screening of the film in Wallingford.
Mr Tufano, who lives in Rothwells Close, Cholsey, was nominated for a Bafta - British Academy of Film and Television Arts - award this year.
The judges announced on Sunday that the award for cinematography would go to the epic Gladiator.
However, Billy Elliot did win three awards - best film, best actor for 14-year-old Jamie Bell, and best supporting actress for Julie Walters.
Mr Tufano will attend the screening of the film at the Corn Exchange, Wallingford, on Friday, and will be available afterwards to talk about his role in the film.
He is a member of the Sinodun Players who own and operate Wallingford's theatre and cinema.
Billy Elliot, seen last year by more than 1,800 film-goers at Wallingford, returns for a third run in the town until Saturday, at 7.30pm.
