Minister for Sport Kate Hoey will officially open a new sports hall on Monday.
The £850,000 project at Witney's Henry Box School was funded by Oxfordshire County Council from the sale of surplus playing fields and replaced a smaller hall with much improved facilities.
The county council's director of environmental services, David Young, said: "The school now has proper provision for badminton, hockey, volleyball, five-a-side football, basketball, netball and cricket practice nets.
"Facilities include provision for people with disabilities, a fitness suite and a teaching resources room."
The school's assistant headteacher Dave Bell said: "We are delighted that Kate Hoey has agreed to open our new sports hall.
"With the opening of the hall we can provide superb facilities, indoor and outdoor, for students at the school for many years to come."
The sports hall is available for lettings out of school hours.
