Stepping Stones Preschool chairman Heidi Neal, who helped organise the event, said that as some parents had other commitments during the recent Comic Relief fundraising day, they nevertheless wanted to raise money for children's charities.
Mrs Neal added: "At Stepping Stones we like to have fun with fund-raising. The children loved it."
Mrs Marshall collected £45 sponsorship from her custard bath - to be split between Comic Relief and a Millennium garden at the playgroup.
