Jason Constable heralded his return to Shipton-under-Wychwood by taking 4-45 to set last year's runners-up on the way to an eight-wicket win against champions Banbury Twenty.
Constable's spell saw the visitors slump to 140 all out, Steve Partington making 37.
Shipton lost Steve Bates in their second over, but Stewart Gillett saw his team home at 142-2 with an unbeaten 68.
