Shahbaz Ali hammered a stylish 162 not out to set Banbury 2nd on the way to a 47-run victory over Leighton Buzzard at White Post Road.
He received solid support from Phil Cooksey (58) as the pair put on 140 for the second wicket.
Leighton staged a spirited chase in reply with skipper Lee Selfe leading from the front with a combative 84.

New recruit Dennis Mihailevich made a dream debut for Oxford Nondescripts with an unbeaten 117 in a seven-wicket win at Chalgrove.
Mihailevich took advantage of a drying wicket to ease Nondies home at 191-3. Earlier, the wet ground didn't deter Chalgrove skipper Derek Thomas from batting first, and he made 83 out of 190.

Run machine Mark Cannons continued where he left off last season with an unbeaten 82 in Witney Mills' 231-4 against Great & Little Tew.
In reply, Tew were handily placed at 197-2, thanks to Paul Catling (76) and Kevin Taylor (75).
But then Mills skipper Steve Kelly pounced with three wickets in one over to restrict the visitors to 214-6. Witney Mills 16, Great Tew 13
Promoted Tiddington crashed to a 114-run defeat at Bourton Vale, who rattled up an impressive 256-6 with half-centuries from Richard Howell (63) and Philip Hawtrey (64).
Tiddington then collapsed to 35-4 against seamers James Richardson (3-3) and Richard Howell (3-16).
Muir (37) and Edmondson (44) added 66 for the fifth wicket before Tiddington caved in to 142 all out.

Aston Rowant, who also went up last term, slipped to a four-wicket defeat at Dinton.
Nick O'Hara (49) and Chris Eaton (59) were the mainstay of Rowant's 182-9 with Pete Ludlow (4-71) and Ivor Jones (5-35) bowling well.
Darren Risden (61) then led Dinton to victory at 183-6.
