Saloon car racer Alec Hammond sailed to three wins in his first outing in the newly-liveried Virgin Venture Chevrolet Camaro.
Hammond, of Abingdon, scooped three victories, a second place and a fourth at the Aston Martin Owners Club's Historic Sports Car Spectacular meeting at Brands Hatch.
The 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is now running with backing from Virgin Venture, a 64ft luxury motor yacht introduced to the British Virgin Islands two years ago as a crewed charter yacht, with its own website www.virginventure.com
Hammond said: "It has luxurious accommodation for six people in three double cabins at a weekly rate of £11,350. She has proved so popular that Virgin Venture Two is now under construction and will join here sister in the autumn of 2001."
Hammond is next in action in the Camaro at the Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium this coming weekend.
