A consulting company has masterminded business makeovers for ten new companies for the Prince's Trust.
Northstar Consulting, based in Kidlington, linked with market intelligence firm Dunnhumby from which ten teams were each allocated a small business to help.
Their aim, over 24 hours and with a £500 budget, was to make a significant, lasting and positive contribution to it.
Their chosen 'victims' - interior designers, reproduction furniture makers, nightclub tour operators and car valeting firms - were all being supported by the Prince's Trust, the UK-wide charity that offers start-up loans and advice to young people who want to run their own businesses.
Charles Mann, from Northstar Consulting, said: "This project has been a great success. When we put the two groups together, we believed it would create some magic - and it did."
