Family historian Gordon Abbott is searching for descendents of the former Mayor of Oxford, Arthur Skipper.
Mr Abbott, who lives in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, has appealed to relatives of Mr Skipper - who served as mayor in the 1940s - to call him on 01908 318019.
