Mark Churchill and Hannah Savoy face a daunting task when they take to the stage.
The duo, members of Witney Amateur Dramatic Society, take on the roles made famous by stars Michael Caine and Jane Horrocks in the film Little Voice.
The Jim Cartwright musical drama is the latest challenge being taken on by the drama group, with performances at Witney's Corn Exchange on May 17, 18 and 19.
Mark's wife Brenda, an Oxfordshire county councillor for Witney, has produced and directed the show.
Performances start at 7.45pm and advance tickets, £3.50 for Thursday, £5 for Friday and Saturday, can be obtained from Greenaways Antiques in Corn Street.
