Residents have raised money towards the cost of renovating their village hall, by holding a fete.
More than £3,000 has been spent on Ambrosden Village Hall in recent years.
Ray Walters, parish council chairman and a member of the hall committee, said he expected that this year between £3,000 and £4,000 would be spent on putting in new windows and doors and re-decorating the interior.
Mr Walters added: "Generally speaking, the hall is well supported by the village and the hall committee has been given grants by the parish council to help pay for the renovations."
