Music-lovers of all ages packed a leisure centre for a performance by talented youngsters.
More than 350 people filled Didcot Leisure Centre to hear Oxfordshire's Youth Orchestras perform the Mayor's Concert.
The performance featured a range of pieces ranging from jazz to classical music.
Didcot mayor Terry Joslin, who hands over the chain of office to Cllr Jerry Goff next week, said: "The concert was my farewell gift to the town following my year as mayor. It went absolutely brilliantly and was very well attended. The programme was very popular and was performed flawlessly."
He added: "The UK is recognised as producing the best young musicians anywhere in the world - and Oxfordshire has the superb reputation of being among the creme de la creme."
