Ballet Central returns to The Theatre, Chipping Norton tomorrow and Friday with a new programme of dance highlights performed by up-and-coming dance stars, writes Helen Peacocke.
Now in its 16th year, Ballet Central features 23 young dancers from the graduate year at the Central School of Ballet who are touring the country to gain experience. The company's programme this year includes a new staging of the Peasant pas de trois from Giselle, the purely classical Allegretto danced to Beethoven's score and Hands in the Clouds, which draws on 32 positions of the T'ai Chi form.
Performances are at 8pm both days. Tickets are available from the box office, telephone 01608 642350.
