Witney's junior athletes used Monday's Cheltenham Brewer games as a warm-up to the forthcoming county championships, and there were six club records set in the warm afternoon sunshine.
In the throwing events, brother and sister Bryn and Danielle Perry both set discus records. Bryn threw 21.79m in the under 15 boys' event while Danielle recorded 21.50m in the under 17 women's event. She later went on to produce a second record of 7.85m in the shot.
Gavin Bull improved his own club record to 1.30m in the under 13 boys' high jump. In the same age group, Claire Triggs continued to improve on her long jump record with new best figures of 4.48m and she also equalled the club 100m record later in the day.
Ellie Corbet set a personal best in the under 13 girls' shot with a new mark of 5.73m while Carly Milward leapt 1.15m for a new pb in the high jump.
