A village tennis club has raised £1,500 for new floodlights with a sponsored 12-hour tennis marathon.
Thirty-three members of Cholsey Tennis Club took part, playing a total of 637 games on Cholsey's four courts. Two players managed to keep going for the whole 12 hours.
The event was sponsored by Yonex and Wallingford Sports.
Club president Adrian Hatt congratulated the participants for their "great effort and substantial contribution toward the new lights".
Cholsey Tennis Club fields teams in the Oxfordshire leagues, as well as having many "social" players.
