Elderly people have been warned to be on their guard after a pensioner became the latest victim of distraction burglars.
Two men - described as white and Irish - called on an elderly man living alone in South Stoke, near Wallingford, at about 9pm on Wednesday.
They pretended to be touting for building work, but stole a quantity of cash before driving off in their white van.
The incident follows an earlier distraction burglary in nearby Benson last month when a 91-year-old man was targeted.
Anyone with information about the South Stoke incident is asked to call Pc Moke Walton on 01491 821515.
