More than 100 people have turned out to attend the official opening of Didcot's Millennium Wood.
A group of Morris dancers from Botley, known as Armaleggan, provided entertainment and even encouraged spectators to take part in a community dance.

A time capsule was buried by the leader of Didcot Town Council, Mike McNulty.
It contained a record of the wood's creation, contributions from local schools, including a tie from St Birinus School, information about Didcot and the town centre development, a copy of the Oxford Mail's sister paper, the Didcot Herald, the town's twinning agreement with Meylan and a copy of the council's budget.
The Millennium Wood, which is in the Hagbourne Triangle between Didcot and the village, was the brainchild of town councillor Beryl Davidson.
Cllr Davidson said: "The wood will provide a habitat for wild creatures to compensate for what has been lost.
"It will purify the air we breathe and be good for people's health, both spiritually and physically."
More than £12,00 was raised through sponsorship and 7,500 trees and 2,500 shrubs have been planted.
