Protesters will gather in South Park, Oxford, tomorrow to call for Third World debt to be cancelled.
More than 200 people, from Oxfam, Christian Aid and the Muslim Welfare House, are expected in the park at 2pm and will march to Broad Street.
The event is part of a worldwide campaign calling for the world's poorest countries' unpayable debt to be cancelled.
There will be several speakers in Broad Street, including David Hillman from the Drop The Debt campaign.
Paul Langley, from Christian Aid, said: "The people of Oxfordshire are taking to the streets to voice their anger at the way some of the poorest countries are crippled by debt repayments.
"Oxfordshire has played a key part in the campaign over recent years and contributed to the success of achieving $100bn of debt cancellation.
"We can all make a difference and on Saturday we will be asking shoppers to sign the Oxford petition to be taken to the G8 Summit in Genoa, Italy, this July.
"Representatives from Oxfordshire will also be lobbying the G8 Summit in Italy, with thousands of others from around the world," he said.
