A musical collaboration between Oxford band Radiohead and jazz trumpeter Humphrey Lyttelton is to be broadcast on the radio.
The track, Living In a Glasshouse, will be broadcast as part of a special series of programmes to celebrate the jazz musician's 80th birthday.
Mr Lyttleton was invited to work with the British rock band when they admitted they were a "bit stuck" during the recording of their forthcoming album Amnesia, which is out next month. Radiohead are playing a 40,000 sell-out concert in South Park, Oxford, on July 7. Other local bands including Supergrass will also be on the bill.
The track will be played during a show in which Mr Lyttleton talks about his life and music to saxophonist Courtney Pine, called Courtney Pine Celebrates Humph At 80, on BBC Radio 2 on May 21.
"People had said to me they were all crazy, but in fact we had a good time," Lyttleton recalled of the session.
The trumpeter is known to millions of listeners for his Best Of Jazz show on BBC Radio 2 and as chairman of BBC Radio 4's I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue.
Radiohead have said their new album will be more accessible than their fourth, Kid A.
