Police are still waiting to interview a father of five who was badly injured a week ago in a gas explosion at his house.
Andrew Rushton, 36, is still recovering in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, from severe facial burns he received when the blast shook the family home in Manzel Road, Caversfield, near Bicester.
Mr Rushton was taken to hospital along with his wife, Sue, 34, and their ten-year-old son, Andrew. Both suffered burns but were released after treatment.
But Mr Rushton, who works for Bicester Roofing Company, sustained more serious injuries, and police have not been able to interview him to get his memories of the blaze.
