Dick Giles spun his way to a haul of 5-29 after Kingston Bagpuize invited Cropredy to bat first on their own track.
Richard Lynch made 53 in their total of 171, and Kingston looked in dire straits when they were reduced to 12-3 in reply.
Martin Shepherd provided some resistance before being run out for 38, and although seamer Lynch picked up three wickets, Kingston held out on 126-9.
