After a re-count of the final points total at last week's Southern League Division 5 fixture at Tooting Bec, Abingdon Amblers won the event by four points from Team Solent.
In their first ever venture into this league, Abingdon's original second place was a good performance. To finish first was an exceptional one.
*World rally driver Richard Burns will be participating in a three-man team for Prodrive in the Banbury Triathlon on Sunday.
The event begins at 9.45am at the Woodgreen Leisure Centre, with Burns's team beginning three minutes after the start.
