Lovers of the finer things in life in west Oxfordshire have the opportunity to join a new decorative and fine arts society.
The Northleach and Decorative Fine Arts Society, based in the town's Westwoods Centre, opened its membership books earlier this month.
The first lecture will be in October when writer, artist and TV presenter Douglas Skeggs will speak about Prague.
Society spokesman Philippa Mitchell said: "Everyone is welcome, from art lovers to people who would like to learn more.
"Future programmes will include lectures on many aspects of paintings and painters, porcelain, civilisations, architecture, furniture conservation and restoration. There will be visits to grand homes and exhibitions."
Call Mrs Mitchell on 01451 820391 or Mark Dawbarn on 01993 831632 for details.
