Visitors have the chance to study a creative multi-media centre during a planned open day.
Banbury's Animation Station, in the town hall dungeons, is crammed with state-of-the art equipment including the latest superfast computers.
Dex Mugan, Cherwell District Council's multi-media arts development officer, said: "This will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to try the brand new, upgraded, superfast computers and up-to-date software.
She said: "All the workstations have superfast access to the Internet and local young people should make the most of this facility. Cherwell Council is very forward-thinking and the animation station is a unique service provision."
At the open day on Saturday, May 19, from 10am to 4pm, visitors will be encouraged to have a go at mentally challenging computer games invented by local youngsters.
They will also be able to try animation using clay models - and see their work instantly played back on screen.
Also at the open day will be a group of youngsters who are working on an animated series for Channel 6 TV.
