A Banbury primary school will run the children's entertainment area at this year's Banbury Show.
The area will be themed 'all the fun of the fair with Hillview School' and pupils will run stalls with the help of adults. There will be a children's Red Cross section and other attractions.
Hillview PTA member Joanne Dynan has joined the show's organising committee and is planning a pre-show parade through Banbury.
She said: "The children are making banners and posters for the show and we are looking forward to organising a procession through the town centre on Saturday, June 16 - the day before the show."
The show, in Spiceball Park, will go ahead without livestock competitions - because of foot and mouth.
