An Oxford pub brought smiles back to the faces of pupils who lost their playground swings when thieves removed them with bolt-cutters.
Children from the Chinnor Resource Centre, at St Nicholas First School in Raymund Road, Old Marston, Oxford, were invited to use play equipment at The White Hart pub in Oxford Road, Marston.
The pub manager, Mark Williams, said: "The caretaker of the school drinks in our pub and we are only down the road from them, so we decided to do something to cheer the kids up."
The stolen swings were left outside the school gates on May 2, after the theft was reported in the Oxford Mail.
