Two Oxford Mail Boys League representative teams emerged triumphant from recent matches.

The Under 10s won the Cheltenham inter-league event with two victories and a draw.

They saw off Swindon 4-0 with goals from Rhys Freemire, Lewis Welby, Richard Scott and Darren Cuddy, and then drew 0-0 with Witney.

Oxford Under 10s after their victory at Cheltenham

The last game saw Oxford triumph over Cheltenham to lift the trophy after a great strike from Darren Cuddy.

The Under 13s maintained their five-match unbeaten record with a 2-0 success against Mid-Wilts at Highworth Town.

Fine work by defensive duo Michael Selwood (Crowmarsh Boys) and Jonathan Rusk (Abingdon Youth) kept Mid-Wilts at bay before Adam Lawrence (Banbury United) put Oxford ahead with 12 minutes left.

Wayne Waldron (Abingdon Youth) netted No 2 with the help of a post to complete the triumph.

Under 13 squad: Weston, Hilsdon, Johnson, Copper, Rusk, Selwood, Norris, Roberts, Waldron, Little, Rich, Stone, Clark, Johnson, Lawrence, Dixon, Brind.

*An excellent end-to-end Under 16 A League local derby saw Crowmarsh and Cholsey share the points in an exciting 2-2 draw.

Crowmarsh took the early advantage with a fine strike from David Alvarez, but Cholsey pressure paid off with an individual effort from Bradley Grey to make it 1-1.

Luke Best put Cholsey ahead after the break, only for Crowmarsh to hit back via a Paul Channel own goal.
