Visiting rider Nik Gardiner (tt.co.uk) took the honours in the latest Didcot Phoenix event over the ten-mile Stadhampton course.
Gardiner roared home in 21mins 39secs, over a minute clear of runner-up Kevin Backhouse (Oxford University).
In warm, sultry conditions, Chris Colbeck was again the top Didcot rider, but a number of contenders are shaping up, ready to knock Colbeck from the top spot.
Neil Ashcroft, Nick Beale and young rider Lee Thornhill had good rides and continue to push for pole position.
