Detectives investigating the murder of former Oxfordshire woman Carol Evans are trying to piece together the latest movements of a man wanted in connection with her death.
Ms Evans, 40, was found dead in an outbuilding at her Peterborough home on April 24. She died from severe head injuries and could have been dead for several weeks.
Officers are still appealing for her lodger, 27-year-old Peter Airey, to get in touch. He had been staying at her home but has now gone missing.
Det Insp Bert Deane, who is leading the inquiry, said Mr Airey had visited a vicar in Peterborough early last month.
He may also have visited other clergy in the area, as well as Salvation Army hostels.
The last sighting of Mr Airey was in his home town of Leicester on April 24 but, since then, there have been no more leads. Det Insp Deane said: "We know that Peter lodged with Carol and may have been the last person to see her alive, which is why it's so crucial that he tells us everything he knows about her last movements."
Ms Evans was reported missing by her mother Joyce Dee, 58, of Laburnam Grove, Didcot, on April 2. She became concerned after not hearing from her daughter since January 24.
