A gang of youths stole children's clothing worth hundreds of pounds in a raid on a store in Cowley.
The teenagers struck at the Mothercare World store on the Oxford Retail Park on Wednesday, making off with clothes worth about £800.
The four, who were wearing scarves and balaclavas around their faces, grabbed the goods at about 4.40pm before running off in the direction of the Tesco superstore. Their haul consisted mainly of boys' T-shirts in various colours, but with the same 'Dude' motif and a picture of a dog and a skateboard on them.
Other garments included girls' dungarees in a yellow floral print, and girls' tops with a flowerbud design around the edge.
All bore the Mothercare label, and some were fitted with electronic security tags.
Two of the gang were black, and one was white. Staff were unable to get a good description of the fourth.
All were in their early teens.
Three of the youths were about 5ft tall, but one of the black youths was described as being 6ft.
Anyone who saw the gang running away, or has any information about the stolen clothing is asked to contact Oxford police on 01865 266333.
