The funeral has been held for Witney brewer Chris Moss.
He died on May 11 of a heart attack following a long battle against cancer.
The funeral was held at St Frideswide's CE Church, Botley Road, Oxford.
The coffin was placed on a Wychwood Brewery dray drawn by two magnificent Clydesdale horses, see left.
Mr Moss, director and founder of Wychwood Brewery, lived at Osney, Oxford, and is survived by his wife Jill, daughters Jess and Sophie, and two grand- children.
He teamed up with Paddy Glenny in the early 1980s to form the Glenny Brewery, at the former Clinch and Co brewery site, off Church Green.
It changed its name to Wychwood in 1990 after Mr Glenny emigrated to Canada.
Mr Moss, founder and brewing director, saw Wychwood grow from an annual turnover of 500 barrels to 25,000 in the past year.
The flagship beer Hobgoblin is now the seventh biggest selling bottled beer in the UK and is exported worldwide.
A company spokesman said Mr Moss lived and breathed the brewery, often starting work at 6.30am and delivering beer on his way home in the evenings.
